Officially, my job is to look after the script and it’s continuity, i.e. make sure cast stick to their lines, avoid continuity errors and give up to date timings to the producers..

But really… I make sure you can enjoy your favourite movies and TV shows  without distractions by asking the hair department to tuck that little bit of hair behind the actor’s ear, so it doesn’t “magically” move during the scene. I support the VFX department, giving them very specific camera notes, so kids can still believe in magic, I help actors look good and keep directors sane throughout the shoot.
